HOW DOES THE SERVICE WORK?
Jonathan will visit you at your home or studio, bring a range of samples and spend as much time as needed to ensure that the right choice is made. Once work is finished, it will be delivered at a time convenient to you. As all our visits are to customers in their own homes, Jonathan is the subject of enhanced DBS clearance. No extra charge is made for home visits or deliveries. All work is fully insured while in our care.
WHAT AREA DO YOU COVER?
We offer a home visit framing service throughout Romsey and the surrounding area. A list of areas covered is listed here. If you live outside the area, or if for any reason a home visit is not convenient, you are very welcome to make an appointment to come to the workshop and discuss your project.
WHAT CAN WE FRAME?
Within reason, just about anything! Whether it’s a watercolour, a print or a treasured photograph, we can help. Or perhaps you have a set of medals, a sports shirt or some needlework to display. We will be happy to advise you on the best way to both preserve them and display them effectively.
HOW DO WE DO IT?
As Fine Art Trade Guild members we frame to exacting standards using the finest materials available. Jonathan is a Guild Certified Framer and has been trained to a high standard. We offer a range of several hundred mouldings, with several thousand more available to order, including traditional and contemporary profiles in a wide range of colours and finishes. All mount board is of white core or conservation quality, ensuring the best protection for the artwork. Where needed we also offer framing to museum quality standards. Our glass includes conventional float glass, but also specialist products such as’ Water White’ anti-reflective float glass, which is almost invisible and which offers optimum colour rendition.
